US-Bangla Airlines plane crashed in Kathmandu

Ashish Kumar was waiting at Tribhuvan airport to come back to the US-Bengal return flight. He told Sarabangla on telephone that a large number of casualties are being feared. Fire at the runway where the plane crashed.
The crashed flight is BS-2111, he said.
According to the US-Bangla Flight Schedules, the aircraft left Dhaka at 12:30 pm. It was supposed to reach Kathmandu at noon at 2pm.
The total number of the aircraft is 78. When the plane left Dhaka, it had 67 passengers. 17 people were rescued from the crashed plane and admitted to the hospital.
Trivedi International Airport spokesman Prem Nath Tagore said that the plane landed on one side while landing at a football field beside the airport. At that time it caught fire.
"It is not known what caused the plane crash," said Love Nath Tagore.
He said that he left Dhaka and reached Kathmandu Airport at 2:20 pm. Airport authorities and Nepal Army are conducting rescue operation.
The airport was closed after the accident.
Nepal TV report confirmed the deaths of 20 people on the plane crash. However, the captain of the plane said they are alive.
