U.S. "Reciprocal" Tariffs
The United States, under the Trump administration, has implemented sweeping new "reciprocal" tariffs on imports from a large number of countries.
These tariffs include a baseline 10% tariff on imports from nearly all trading partners, with higher "reciprocal" rates for countries with larger trade surpluses with the U.S.
These actions have been described by some as marking a significant shift in global trade policy.
