Steemskate News // New Discord, "Game of Steemskate" Changes and Curation Trail Update
Hello Everybody
There are a few updates regarding our awesome skateboarding community. A new Discord page, changes about "Game of Steemskate" Deadline and a few updates at our curation trail.
Let's have a closer look.
New Discord
We just created a new Discord @Steemskate Group. Our new Discord group has various channels like #general, #post-promotion, #contests, #delegation-Curation Trail info, #steemskate Challenges (new), #help and more.
Let us explain more about each channel.
General
The place where all kind of discussion will be taking place. You can call it our "social" channel. This is the place if you want to discuss about skateboarding and meet new people who also love and respect the skate culture
Post-Promotion
As it's name suggests, you can just paste your latest #steemskate post on the Post-promotion channel for more visibility
Contests
Every @steemskate contest will be shared in this channel so you won't waste time searching for the latest contest posts and to make sure you won't miss any contests we organize.
Delegation-Curation Trail info
You can ask anything regarding our Curation trail and Delegations to @steemskate
Help
You can ask any question regarding us and regarding our awesome blockchain Steem
Steemskate Challenges (New)
A new feature will be rolling out soon called "Steemskate Challenges". More info soon.
"Game of Steemskate" Changes
Winter has already started in some countries around the globe and we want this game to be fair so the deadline for each "Game of Steemskate" Week will be 15 days from now on.
The new Deadline for Week 13 will be on the 16th of October.
Curation Trail Update
@Steemskate has been running a curation trail for over 6 months now. We want to support all skaters who post #skateboarding content on Steem Blockchain and a curation trail is one of the best ways to do so. Our Curation Trail currently can provide all skaters an upvote over $0.60
If you want to support the skate scene on Steem and looking for a way to maximize your curation rewards follow the instructions bellow.
How to join
Sign up for https://steemauto.com/ and right after you link your account using Steemconnect search for Steemskate at the Curation Trail option and follow our Trail.
Click on the Settings option and set voting weight % at your preferred ratio.This will be the % ratio that will be used by your account when @Steemskate upvotes a post.
After that , click the Dashboard option and set your Limit on Mana at least 80%.This will prevent your voting power draining lower than 80%.
Delegate and earn SKATE TOKENS
Delegators will be receiving a certain ammount of the SKATE TOKENS monthly depending on the ammount of SP they delegated. For every SP you delegate, you will be receiving x5 SKATE TOKENS. That means that if you delegate 10 SP you will be getting back 50 SKATE TOKENS every month.
The Steem Power Delegated to us will be used to vote exclusively skateboarding content and give all skaters the appropriate support. Whether we like it or not, a big upvote is a huge motivation.

Bounty Contest Round 2
We will be giving 10,000 SKATE TOKENS for free. Here is what you have to do :
Write a blog post or film a video talking about us (@steemskate). You can talk about your personal experience with Steemskate, about the people you met or if you just found out about us you can just spread the word that the SKATE TOKEN will be launching soon.
Use #Steemskate as your first and #Skatetoken as your second tag
Your Blog must be more than 100 words and videos must be over 1 minute
The deadline for Steemskate Bounty Contest Round 2 will be on October 31.
People who participated will be sharing 10,000 SKATE TOKENS.
