Indeed, they do. Everyone was flipping about my daughter not reading until 9, especially after my son read at 4. I knew she was fine and would learn when she was ready, but everyone else was losing their minds. The younger ones are 4 and 5, so I'm sure the pressure will begin soon. As it is, everyone wants us to put them in school.
