Steemit

I am finding Steemit both unintuitive and very limited. Even the directions/instructions and ability to give fee back is limited or non-existant I do not like Facebook but it has many cool features. You must have a feedback and suggestions box, if you want to be successful. I see the potential but I also see a lot of people posting and nothing else.

I have found that instructions are one of the most important elements of any software application. Poor instructions lead to frustrations by users and if you provide no remedy they will go to another platform. Whether it is installing another hard drive on your computer or learning the various attributes of the real estate MLS platform.

I have been a power user since 1986 with an Osborne and have worked on massive mortgage, appraisal, and real estate platform applications. I even designed one of the first mortgage origination software programs and used create space to publish my own book.

Then, I noticed, all of a sudden, they did even call them programs anymore and everything is an application now. Sadly the software developers lag behind the hardware development because the software folks don't communicate enough with the end users. It reminds me of the rich and poor in this country. The developers are snobby and don't want to deal with the computer illiterates, even though they are the ones that they need to help them improve their software. The rich have lost touch with the poor and middle class and don't realize they need them both as consumers and workers and by putting too much taxation and regulations on the middle class they are destroying their ability to be quality consumers. If you tax people to hard they have no money to spend.
