HOW STUDENTS ARE TREATED FOR EXPRESSING THEMSELVES ON A PEACEFUL PROTEST AGAINST.

(a) The hostel charges was increased from eight thousand naira (#8,000.00) to the sum of twenty thousand naira (#20,000.00) . The situation of the hostel is that each room contains four iron bunks that allows eight(8) persons per room in which there is only two lockers procided for two (2) students and the rest are meant to keep their things on the ground. The said hostel is meant normal to contain only four persons.
(B) The inter-faculty transfer fee: The transfer fee was originally fifty thousand naira (#50,000) but has been increased to one hundred thousand naira (#100,000) . The worst of it is that after paying the said fee, you may not be transferred to your faculty /course of choice.
(C) The incoming students : These are students that are newly admitted into the system. They normally pay ninety five thousand naira (#95,000) for science students and one hundred and fifteen thousand naira(#115,000) for medical students but has now been increased to one hudred and thirty three thousand four hundred naira (#133,400) for science students and one hundred and forty nine thousand four hundred naira (#149,400) for medical students.
(D) The work-study students : These are students that work in the school and are full time students. The have not been paid for one session now and a new session has been started.
(E) The school fee: The school fees has been increased by one thousand naira (#1,000) .
