Peacekeepers.

People who should know better are whining that “Israel has made an incursion into the peacekeeping zone” (I.e, the area of Lebanon north of the Blue Line and south of the Litani)

That accusation is 100% propaganda.

In violation of UN Resolution 1701, Hezbollah has operated freely from the “peacekeeping zone” for almost two decades. Hezbollah has been murdering Israeli men, women, and children by firing thousands of rockets from within “the peacekeeping zone”

The people who are describing UN troops there (the so-called “UNIFIL”) as “peacekeepers” are lying to you. Those troops either work for Hezbollah or, on their own, have behaved in a manner that is indistinguishable from working for Hezbollah.

At this very moment they are serving as forward observers for Hezbollah.

These are not “peacekeepers”.
