Halo Steemians!
Halo Ulogs!
I have been away for too long, sowi about that... i missed you all though.
And today, i want to share with you all how our tour went yesterday.

We (me & my sister) woke up by 4am, and started preparing for this journey which was proposed to last for 3hrs, coupled with traffic and african time.
We left home 5:20am to Ikate bus stop, were the coasta bus picked us.

We waited for 10mins before the vehicle arrived, though my sis was becoming impatient cos she said i made us leave home b4 time(AFRICAN TIMERS lol).
We were about five then... so the vehicle had to stop at som places to pick others as we were going. Some drove behind with their cars...
It was earlier wen we left home, so no make up for us... Lolz.

The journey was going well... but the traffic was much. Wen we got to Lasu, it took almost 45mins for those folks to come out and join us. I waited impatiently though.... and journey continued.
As for me: I had plans of making new friends, cos i have really missed my close friends

Badagry was actually farther than I tot, it was like an outskirt of Lagos state.
...And finally we got there, tank God... Time-9:52am!
We stopped first at the event center. Now everyone's here!... So someone had to enhance her beauty a bit... and with her wig on!

Were we had our breakfast of Tea and bread @10:30am.

a former slave of the white folks, who traded his freedom for the sale and supply of badagry people to his former masters.

From there we all set out to badagry River.
They warned that those wit strange phobia 4 water should stay back... me i didnt even listen.
Though i have had a scary experience wit river wen i was 8...but I didn't tink it changed a tin now.
Looking at the river, i was encouraged to wear the safety jackets (funny)

It was a 21mins walk to the beach...

Valentine our new artise friend joined our crew and yes... it became more interesting. Not mindind the hot sun.
Our host... the Grand Father of the mavin records (great man wit mind) stopped at this spot just to give us the history of pop in nigeria.
20180728_125957.jpg
The second phrase inscribed on the slate moved me though.
20180728_133201.jpg
But he told us that the slaves didnt return and assured us of our own return!
Few walks we stormed the beach

It was really a hectic day... wit awesome personnels.

I did love the history of Badagry and how this slavery was put to an end... is what I'm yet to knw
We left the event center @exactly 7pm to Lagos.

Traffic killed it... but Licking Mouth danced all the way to make our journey fun.
We got home 11pm... Tired and exhausted.
...But happy...
We thank God it all went well, and we all were happy ever after.
As for my plan... I'm still on it. I made one shaa
