Venice in the Philippines | #ULOG 4 | Travel Story
No budget to travel far but you want to experience Venice? Consider visiting Philippines’ version of it in Mckinley Hills, Taguig.
Behold people, Philippines’ version of Venice. Doesn’t it look romantic?
They call it Venice Mall because it doesn’t only feature an attraction that’s somehow similar to the real Venice, but they also offer different things and activities you can enjoy. There are a lot of restaurants if you wish to satisfy your palate, boutiques to visit if you came to shop, beautiful scenery with truly instagrammable spots, and a chance to experience Venice’s gondola ride. Let me share to you my memorable date time with my pumpkin, @criz1404 (He’s also in steemit, so please show some love! ❤️) at the Venice Mall.
This is me pretending i’m a model, or blogger, or whatever. Haha
We visited around noon because we already planned to have or lunch there. With our hungry tummies, we prioritized looking around for good restaurants to choose from. And yes, it was a hard decision because all the restos there are worth trying - some offer Italian, American, Filipino, and other Asian food. But, we kept looking because we were targeting to have steak for lunch. (Our mutual favorite) While looking for a resto to dine, we’ve had a lot of stops in different parts of the place, because the blogger-wannabe in me is always awake. 😂 And, my boyfriend-photographer is super supportive, so carry on.
Then we got tired of roaming around, visiting shops and boutiques. We even went inside the mall area, but we couldn’t choose from all the great options, one of the reasons was we we’re a bit doubtful to try new restos because we might like their steak. And, that’s already a big deal for steak lovers like us. 😅
The other food we ordered tasted really good. Their steak is, not the best there is, but still, delicious.
Then finally, we ended up eating at TGIF’s since @criz1404 has already tried their steak before and their interior design looked great.
A place is only as romantic as you make it seem. It was tiring, a sunny day, but we both had fun. Certainly, it was a day well spent! 💕
With love,
Arielle
Thank you @surpassinggoogle for the #ulog inititative. Now, i’m more encouraged to write and share my experiences to fellow steemians without worrying about getting them bored with stories about me. 😂
