Ulogsound #2: Zidane Bibal - Beginning (Electronic Music)
Hi to all Steemians, especially to all Filipinos...
This is my second funny idiotic track. Idiotic because I don't have experience with any musical instruments. I just made experimental melodies without knowledge in music theory. I'm so dumb, right? Exactly, a reason for you to hate me.
This is the second track of my Funny EDM Trilogy which is very idiotic that can shake your head for laughing so hard. At least, thank me for making you laugh.
Funny EDM Trilogy track list:
Track 1: Arrival
Track 2: Beginning
Track 3: Crush (Uploading)
For having no experience at all, I made this track with very simple beat. I mean, very very simple beat that I think the most laughable thing you will hear. Sorry...
Please do visit my channel page for my dumb story in page description https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwojIh-BAE9e9-5HA7yzW5g/about.
And if you don't hate me so much for doing this, please do subscribe my channel page. Thank you for not hating me. Okay?
I don't know if I will get better in coming days. All I know is, I love doing this, but, yeah... I'm so dumb for this thing.
I'm sharing my dumb work in YouTube to see if I will get better in the future. Which I believe, I won't. This life is so sad. I'm no talented at all. It's better to cry. Huhuhu...
Hmmm, I feel better now after crying.
By the way, please check my blog in https://steemit.com/@zidanebibal.
PS: I love EDM song and I want to make a good one but I'm not just good enough to pleased everybody. Whatever you say can boost my confidence either in positive or negative way, I'll take it. Whatever I'm lacking at, please say it in the comments.
Do remixes - you can learn your production chops by taking part in remix competitions . The key is to understand the structure, from mixing with textures (old electronic dance tracks) and the buildup and drop down kind (edm).
For melody or chord arrangement, imagine playing them on a keyboard - idea is to keep to all chords within 1 octave for the time being, while bass riffs can be kept simple. Then variate them by placing them in a 16 beat, 4 bar loop.
Hopefully this can get you started.
Wow, thank you very much for the big advice from you mate. I'm pretty sure, you are an artist. In my point of don't have knowledge in music theory or in any musical instrument, it is very hard in my part. But, I want to learn more. Thank you again mate. But, due to lack of fund, I couldn't afford a keyboard for now. My only instrument is my laptop and a vivo's phone headphone.
Seems I'm lucky enough to have spotted my post. I want to work and learn from you in the coming days. Thank you again @nanowander.
No problem. The computer keyboard is good enough. You can check out my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/nanowander
