LET’S SAY I AM BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND SOME | Ulog 24 - TRAVELFEED
It’s kinda cool that you can tap people to be on your side when you need them. These people are very rare and sometimes, you can’t even have one.
Let’s say I am blessed to have found some.
…
There’s a pond and a tender feeling whenever you all have a chance to get together. Sometimes it is even better if it happens to be a thing from all of your longiness to something you are feeling mutually. More specifically- An “escape”.
But here I am again with the word escape. When I always say we should not use ‘escape’ on our trips, but “reward”.
Escape.
Reward.
Sometimes it makes sense to me that I could have both of them. I could escape from life’s discomfort and make it as a reward for myself. I mean for ourselves.
Lately, I was able to spend some private time with my girl friends. I personally selected them for some reasons that is so long to disclose here. But making it short, I owe them a big favor. And I feel like treating them to a good trip. I feel bad somehow, because it’s kinda inconsiderate with my other folks, but I have to be firm and fortunately my other friends understand.
The trip went nicer as I expected. I thought we will just have a good time, but we had something more- Peace and Rest. (not Rest in peace tho)
It was actually 5 years later when I first visited Tagaytay City. So I personally asked my friends to go with the places I have visited before.
The Skyranch Tagaytay was the First location.
I actually enjoyed it personally - the place changed a little bit, still crowded, but what I will always love there is the wonderful scene of Taal lake and the tiny handsome volcano in it.
The food in the south is always Amazing!
We had the famous Bulalo here at the Karenderia ng Kaviteno for Lunch and we had dinner at Dough Kneads Tagaytay
Dough Kneads' Rating: Dough Knead is an all-around cafe which offers breakfast, snacks, and main meals. They offer ample parking area. Located at the curved side of the road as you approach Tagaytay coming from Sta Rosa, Dough Knead also has Drive-Thru, apparently.
Pot Roast Beef - good sauce, double the carbs with rice and mashed potato
Crispy Tawilis - ok
Chicken Tocino - good
Bulalo - good to share (2-3pax)
Arrozcaldo - good flavours
Lumpiang Ubod - good
Boneless Bangus - ok
Sinigang - ok
Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Always ask which items are not available for the day as the breakfast crowd could order too much of some dishes.
We also climb the People's Park in the Sky to spend the Afternoon and watch the sunset.
The experience was very endearing and unforgettable specially the roadtrip. Now we are all cheering for more get together someday and somewhere else.
