Oh. I can't get my passport till now.
According to the special rule, without my boss' signature, I have no way to renew my passport.
I am really curious.
Are most of Americans from Christian family？
I clearly remember that John told me that he was circumcised.
So I always think that Circumcision should be a Christian tradition.
But now I get a different answer from a YouTube Teacher.
Teacher Mark just answered that only very Christians are circumcised. So now I doubt maybe John practiced circumcision not because of religious reason. He was circumcised due to hygiene reason like some Chinese men.
I know that some Chinese men are circumcised because their penis skin is too long.
The reason why I want to figure out this question is due to the so-called "virgin".
Because in Western countries, Virgin is about religion like Virgin Mary--the mother of Jesus.
But in China, the virgin is not because of religion reason. Being virgin is for getting the "bride price" from the husband's family.
So it is necessary for me to make clear if Christian men should be circumcised according to their religion.
Was John circumcised due to religion reason or the pure hygiene reason？
I know Muslim men must be circumcised according to their religion tradition.

I am a Christian and yes, they get circumcised. It's not just for hygiene reasons.

I just checked some information online about circumcision on purpose.
So interesting. It shows that the circumcision is for showing masculinity.
But in China, circumcision sounds very horrible. Only those Chinese men with long penis skin require such kind of surgery. And they are adults when circumcised.
No Chinese parents will have their children/baby boys circumcised. (Maybe some Chinese minority such as Chinese Muslims can also have circumcision. But I never get in touch with any Chinese Muslim.)
In fact, most of Chinese don't understand Christian religion including me at that time.
But now I am learning the history of Christian and the Bible...
Of course, I have met some Chinese Muslims in reality. But I feel so horrible about their religion/culture. I don't like their customs and I am also extremely ignorant about their religion.
I guess it is the same reason why John's American family don't like China/Chinese religion/culture.

I must say that I'm learning about the history of Christian and the story of the Bible now.
I was very ignorant about Christian when John was alive.
I just regarded him as my English teacher. He never told me anything about the Bible and I also never told him about our Chinese marriage customs.
It is part of the reason why our cross-nation became a huge tragedy. Of course, there are a lot of barriers on politics between China and US which ruined our pure love. Till now I still have no chance to set foot on the land of the US. So sad...very very sad...
In China only very few people believe in Christian. Because Chinese government only believes in Marxism.
Nobody teaches us about Christian.
Most of common Chinese believe in Confucion culture/marriage custom and Buddhism.
We common Chinese are very ignorant about Christian. Very few Chinese care about the new Pope.

What would you like to know? We have 10 commandments that are the foundation of our faith. They are commitments to our Lord . The breaking of these covenants are called sins and they are all equal in measure and punishment..

Oh. I am still rather ignorant about Christian and I am learning the story of the Bible.
But I want to know in America, which kind of Christian do most of people believe in， Catholicism or Puritanism？

You're so very welcome and it is my absolute pleasure. Here is what the newest pope said yesterday. As he celebrated his first Mass in the Sistine Chapel, Leo also opined that many people across the world consider the Christian faith “absurd,” the Associated Press reported.
“This is true not only among non-believers but also among many baptized Christians, who thus end up living, at this level, in a state of practical atheism,” he stated. “Yet, precisely for this reason, they are the places where our missionary outreach is desperately needed. A lack of faith is often tragically accompanied by the loss of meaning in life, the neglect of mercy, appalling violations of human dignity, the crisis of the family and so many other wounds that afflict our society.”
The love of a mother to their child is what we teach as the love of God.
At least it's similar.
Or my favorite line out of the new testament,
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

It's broad what Christians believe. I'd say the majority are Catholic. 2nd would be Baptist.
But in the most direct sense were an off branch of the Jewish faith. Jesus was Jewish.
And we celebrate Christ as the son of God.
