Frost bite, aka ice tan
I'm not having much fun with the weather lately, it's starting to get a bit too ridiculous for this warm blooded Floridian. And, as you might imagine we are doing great by comparison.
Just heard on the radio some cities in the mid west are going to be 32 degrees in the negative in a couple of days. As im writing that down, and remembering that 32 degrees is the point where water becomes ice, I simply can't begin to imagine what 64 degrees colder would be like.
At such temperature, It must hurt to breathe, it must. Of course schools will have to take breaks, nobody can expect to be productive when a frost bite is a possibility.
It begs the question: Why are we still debating whether we should be taking care of our planet or not? Does these extremes not tell us everything we need to know? As a matter of fact, watch summer come around and roast us, because we are bound to swing the other way just as hard.
At any rate, I'm blasting my heater, trying to start my work day, but I wanted to wish everyone who is getting slammed with this cold in a big way, the best.

I have not heard my A/C go on in days! At least the light bill will be low this month! May buy more Steem with that savings!

The weather is topsy turvy indeed, climate change is not about "global warming" overall unpredictability and things out of normal. Here one day is warm and confused bees get out another is chilly
That is even cold for Edmonton!
The ice age seems to be starting there in the West... well the thing is when the climate changes all of a sudden you have so many areas with people living who are nog prepared for those kinds of things.. as in ...does your house even have a heater for instance? :D
we dont have a heater.. its florida, its not supposed to need one, but it somewhat does these days.

It's cold my man. Very cold. Here in Chicago, we are going to have weather that reaches around -40 with the wind chill. It's going to be very fun. Very fun indeed.(NO its not).
that would make me move into the inside of a volcano.. -40?? whaaaa

At least here this isn't really a climate change thing, it's just a winter thing. Every few years we get a week like this.

Everybody needs to make their part in to make the planet more sustainable. For me, I plant a lot of seed tree in my city, in different points and try to take care of them until it reach a certain size that these could survive alone.
If it person plant just one try like I do in public places, we could started to have a better place. Of course, that isn't enough, but it a good start.
