The sky was very clear and bright today maybe its due to last night rain fall but everything in the Sky was crystal. The Sun hid behind white clouds and shone through their shade. It is a beautiful day.
Am gonna highlight some of the past work already done here briefly.

It took 3 weeks to cultivate this land, according to my brother. Lucky for me, I wasn't around when all this work was going on, was probably in school or on vacation somewhere. But I was really impressed by the amount of work they have put in. Their dedication amazes me every time, coming to the farm every day for 23 days, men!. Work in the farm always start as early as 6:50 am after the morning prayer and you are not permitted to leave until probably 10:00 am. My Dad is a stern disciplinarian, He doesn't joke with work and laziness. Sometimes, I pity us when we work for him but the thing is; this work feeds us. So we ain't got much choice you know. It just cool.

Part of the cultivated land that are yet to show any signs of growth or developments. These lands were manually cultivated about a couple of months ago. It was implanted with cassava roots but are yet to show any signs of the crop.

The major job today was weeding (clearing up )the path for the planted crops since weed wouldn't allow them any breathing space. It like a form of maintenance on the farm, it allows the crops their space and spare nutrients for their growth.

It's important to rid your garden of weeds because they rob your soil and your plants of important nutrients and water. Certain weeds such as nut grass actually reduce crop yield on farms because their roots release chemicals that are harmful to surrounding plants.

Last shot for the day. And now we put all to close. After five hours of work, we finally heading home, am sure you can guess the time it is. But, all in all, it was stressful yet it was great stretching out to the farm again. I might be lazy on their thoughts but am always excited when I help out here. Bye.
