#Ulog 005 (6/18/18) : 8-Hour Shift

Good day Steemians! How's your week so far?

It's already 11am while I was typing my Ulog post for today. 4-hours to go before my end of shift.

It is a benign shift. I hope this will continue throughout the day. I am a bit under the weather today and kinda lazy to work but I have no choice but to work this bumbum off. haha

Here's my paperwork while I am waiting for my wound dressing procedure. Every time we had a patient we will log it in our system so that every month it is easier for our Charge Nurse to count our census for the whole month.

As of this time I am done with my surgery which was scheduled at 12:30pm. I am the nurse incharge for surgery operations. I will be the one who will assist the surgeon during the minor procedures.

Today my patient was a victim of a hit and run incident and she lost her left leg. After her operation she went to the Out Patient Department every week so that her wound will be cleaned. Then after a few months of follow-up every week, as of today her wound dressing is now only once a month because of a good progress. The physician decided that she can do wound dressing at their house and luckily she has a neighbor, a midwife that was trained how to do it.

Then I had my reflections once again. LIFE is truely a blessing. Every day is a gift. Be a gift also to every people you meet. Show compassion and be kind always.

30-minutes to go before I logout. Still waiting for the doctor for my Nasal Endoscopy procedure. I guess I will be endorsing my patient to my colleague. hehe
