#ULOG 9: HOW I MADE MY FAVORITE BANANACUE
These past few days have been raining really hard in my place. When I say heavy, I mean it causes floods to some areas in my town as well as in our house. So, we have been very busy doing the cleaning.
The weather seems to go with the flow with the opening of classes for school year 2018-2019. It has been a very sunny day today. I felt happy because finally the mud would dry up now and it would not be that messy to walk outside the house.
Since it is a very sunny day, we decided to just stay at home. Later this afternoon my father brought us some bananas. We call them (cordava bananas) here in Phil. I was so happy because bananas are my super favorite, any kind of it. But when it comes to cordava kinds of bananas, I liked it more when its fried. Since it was snack time, I decided to cook some of it. I want to share with you how I did it. So here it goes:
First things first, peeling the bananas. Next thing that you'll do is to soak it first with water. My mother-in-law said it is necessary so that the banana would be smooth and will not cook right away and it won't be burnt. Thirdly, put an ample amount of oil in the pan. Wait until its super heat before putting the bananas so that it won't stick. Fourthly, put some amount of brown sugar in the bananas. Wait until it turns brownish. Do it on the other side of the banana as well. After that, you have made your own bananacue. :)
I will often practice your super recipe, I like it very much they look caramelized, that color that you have looks great.
I also love love love bananas but I like it more as ‘pinaypay’ ahahah!
