ULOG#9....….My Food Ulog "Adobo sa Kalamyas"
Good day fellow Steemian Uloggers!!!! My next post is a foodie trip.
While it is raining here I planned to cook pork adobo with kalamyas or kamias as the substitute for vinegar. It is our favorite adobo with a twist on its sourness. I bought pork from the market and prepared all of the ingredients.
Ingredients are a kilo of pork, 3 pieces of garlic chopped, onions chopped and a cup full of kamias, along with soy sauce and a table spoon of nipa syrup.
I first sauteed the garlic then followed by onions, cook it till it caramelized.
Followed by kamias and sauteed it until it cooks.
Then I put the pork and sauteed it as well till all of it were cooked by sauteeing.
I put the soy sauce and also the nipa syrup.
There it is as mixed, the pork let out its juices. I left it to boil to make it tender then mix it up to dry.
I also found these in the kitchen so I decided to mix these as well. I had these potatoes, mushroom and fermented green chilies. I put it up and let it cook throughly.
So there it is Pork Adobo sa Kamias. It is a very nice ulam. Pork so tender with sauce so balanced and tasty with potatoes and chillies. A heart warming food for this rainy days.
