Good point @tobixen. A full-timbered house would probably be a log cabin. 😂
I was just trying to make the contrast with the half-timbered houses. I bet there is a name for houses like the one in the photograph though.

That's an interesting construction in Larvik because, I was going to say, "the bricks would suggest it is relatively modern".
However, after a bit of research, I discovered that fired bricks have been used in Northern Europe since Roman times.
So, now, I'm none the wiser about the whole thing. 😂
