Labour are focusing on the Red Wall

The Red Wall is the group of traditional Labour seats in the North of England, which unexpectedly voted Conservative in 2019. Labour are determined to win them back.

According to the FT, Labour is concentrating on the 186 seats it needs to win the election:

Half of these seats are in the North and Midlands, including around 40 that made up the traditional Labour ‘Red Wall’ lost to the Conservatives in 2019.

A further 57 of the seats are spread throughout the rest of southern England, with another 26 in Scotland and 10 in Wales. The 186 seats are identified as critical by Labour on its campaign website.

As you can see, they're focused on the blue dots. But I'm intrigued that the red dot seats on the left are getting visits too.
