Should people give up on posting on steemit because they are not getting money?

Sounds like some people are giving up too soon. they should focus on working on their posts and they will be successful. Also, Getting rich overnight is rare. I've been on for 2months and I'm getting a lot of small change like at most a 2$ dollar per post, but I know I just got to keep working on it.
