WHAT DRIVES YOUR LIFE

Coming to think of it, what drives your life because I believe everyone is driven by something? They’re very many things that drive our life if your to think of it. For my case as peeta23 what used to drive my life was love for materialism things. In google when I searched what is materialism it defined it as a tendency to consider material possessions and physical comfort as more important than spiritual values. It may include money, designer clothes, Rolex watches to mention a few.
My desire was to acquire more and more of these things and I thought by possessing all these it would make me a very happy man, more secured and everything is well but I was wrong. Of course, there’s some little satisfaction you have when you possess them but I guarantee you it’s a temporal one.
Now, later on I realized all these driven things for materialism was all untrue. I found out that my real security and driven life can be found only in what that can never be taken from me and that’s my relationship with GOD. All the others can be taken from you but not GOD. Now that drives me, a life driven to do the will of God, a life of purpose of serving GOD. And here I know for sure there’s full satisfaction not in vanity like material things. Back to my question what drives your life?
Is it the love of money, is it fear or anger, is it the desire to prove to everyone your best?
