Anti-Putin coalition prepares fourth package of sanctions against Russia
The anti-Putin coalition in support of Ukraine has begun preparing a fourth package of sanctions against Russia.
This is stated in the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, reports "European Pravda".
The new sanctions package will include the expulsion of some Russian diplomats, further tightening of sanctions against the banking system and Putin's entourage.
In addition, the EU is considering the creation of a so-called "register of Russian corrupt officials," which will include both government officials and businessmen close to the Kremlin, who will not be able to have financial relations or do business with the civilized world.
The Foreign Ministry reminds us that the anti-Putin coalition of states has imposed three sets of painful sanctions against Russia. In particular, the list of Russian banks to be disconnected from SWIFT is finalized, half of the financial reserves of the Central Bank of Russia are frozen, restrictions are imposed on Sberbank, a ban on the sale, supply, transfer and export to Russia of oil refining technologies, export licenses for dual use are stopped, in some countries the issue of visas for Russian citizens is stopped.
As a result of Western sanctions, the Russian ruble collapsed to a historic low.
In addition, for the first time in modern history, sanctions were imposed against the current head of state, Vladimir Putin.
Ukrainian diplomacy is actively pursuing a diplomatic offensive to impose a full embargo on Russian oil and gas.
Thirty-two countries have closed their airspace to Russian airlines and planes.
