THE GAME .. well yea, as life gets more expensive and money harder to find, the body is 30 years ahead while the mind always has been, stuck in a hole made of cryptonite for life "met zicht op groendal" ...
These low-end super-gems of more or less above average complexity have a lot more appeal than i would have expected ... somehow they feel like those games the kid and the boy would have wanted on that 8 and 16bit machine (but ofc you cant hack that on a thing with 64kb of memory) although an Atari ST with a hard drive and 4mb might probably give a thing like this a run for its money IF you can find a coder willing to put more time than a jam into it..
And face it .. MONEY ... even if Valve gave back the €150 after claiming "our EULA blablabl, we keep the money in our account for x days so you can NEVER get scammed and you can always get it back" and the CS guy saying after 15 minutes (they DID respond fast) "but i cant take the money out of HIS account like that (effectively admitting he knew which one and in essence we assume they have the chatlogs too)
Once in every lifetime ... for some reason i got lured into voting for a team using a QR code (that'll teach me) and my account got taken for like less than a minute, the money in the wallet got used to buy some collectible virtual card or skin item that was set overpriced and by the time i took the account back (they dont have my phonenumber) it was gone. The CS rep said "CANT DO" the eula says "YOU ARE PROTECTED!", and the CS rep said "sorry i have to close the ticked if you wanna go further open a new one" leaving me to suspect almost the guy is in on it
so the money was gone (dont ask me why i had €150 in a steam wallet, its like "€10 - €20" a month back then and not ,enough games with allure to buy ... and they dont give it back so i dont valve anymore

But these little things hold a surprising lot of appeal, zero A.I. generated photorealistic crap, 99% gameplay and some funny, LOTS of mechanics under the "simple" U.I. ... and they just feel more like home

pardon the quality, its late-early and time to cycle , the condition seems to have added around an hour extra loss and more fog per day since this year and ofcourse everything is an act and sitting here rotting for life met zich op groendal is the easy way out. The cola is ordered and delivered (dont have a car) so the return money has to wait until someone takes it, what was €15 now is €25 more or less but at one a day SO FAR its that one thing we still dont wanna give up. Drink 2 cups of coffee a day ... instant instead of the good stuff (MAN i would murder someone for a real italian espresso sometimes served in a tiny shotglass-sized coffeecup on a real italian terrace) b/c douwe egberts (according to the carrefour website een "produkt van eigen bodem" just like the cola) doesnt hold the flavour long enough anyway and is hella-shit expensive too.
One cup of hot chocolate milk at night ... also instant b/c the real thing ... we dont have the drive anymore , barely to make spaghettie
