A guy here once told me that in colombia you dont have to pay taxes on the first $10k you make

How would that work ?

We also have no future left , all options got taken and all exits blocked but as a stranded alien from the future in a distant galaxy far away

(all cultures of kardashev lvl 1 or higher keep residence outside the observable universe of humans , to prevent the blight from ever reaching - but at this rate they probably wont make it to the closest asteroid belt for mining what is gone here in 30-100 human years, since you can't launch a rocket on a woodstove and reverse soil and continent erosion has not been observed here from Africa to Arizona in the past million years that means at that point its game over and the species is labelled extinct even if they will run around a long time)

cannibalism goes a long way if all you have is rocks and sand after all

so these things make no sense :

1. the biggest underlying problem : overpopulation ... instead of diking it some forces in the shadows seem to promote increase ... who will provide the needed energy (assuming you express everything in energy values by newton in the metaverse, closest human metafor) ... "the" a.i. perhaps (i suppose YOU would say "jobs" or "income" or perhaps "food" or something)

2. Obligations on the low side , rights on the hi side ... flexibility is expected from the drones and troglodytes but theres no such thing as quota for number in care relative to the amount of energy the entity has access to and the amount of it it can control

in human : "the more revenue the more employees a company (any) has to have in care - if not needed then still, they can still earn 10 ferraris like that only not 500 ... depending on population levels as needed ofcourse) putting the obligations where the possibilties are . your americans would claim communism but in that no one owns ferraris , its more like "shared security" and "buying power" between the upper levels and the state. The load gets taken off and more get more to spend - ofcourse this requires a healthy state with very low corruption as well as a healthy corporate culture with very low corruption and collarcrimes ... so scrap that

Its a working system tho, its more UBI than wellfare and you CAN put them to work ofcourse if you employ them , you just HAVE TO spend x on employing if your revenue is Y

(as said : functionally possible in countries with less than two governments pro capita)

1. (the hardest) ..not that the catstar would have trouble with that since we have roaming cities, not concrete-metal ticks digging into the planet and we have strict population control as hi - tek levels provide utopian conditions for smaller populations (that ofcourse goes without saying in the universel cosmic logic - in human : by the laws of plato, spock and holmes )

now this is hard b/c it has the word "no taxes" in it, so lowlevel cultures of cro-magnon or lower in human will get a system error on hearing those words and totally ignore the numbers ...

Like for instance in colombia if you earn minimal you dont pay the state extra for champagne parties ,
an example :

a guy in the supreme wellfaring democracies of west-euro-buro (where the whole world wants to be) , gal or other if you like dicksaws and drilling holes or pump-prosthetics - ... its "a thing" i guess , like tattoos only more permanent

say that guy is supported by minimum-survival-income, lets take an easy number like

$100 monthly (in west-euro-buro €100) assuming they are not "in care" of some mid, big or megacorp under the minimum employee by revenue quota in which case the state doesnt have to either b/c its already taken care of

so that's 1200 a year in human years ... on which they pay no taxes

(this is where the neanderthals and cro-magnons start clubbing the floor and shouting "NO TAXES?

NO TAXES ???" Huh huh HEW HEW !!)

we're taking a hypothetical number right, no way you can eat for €1200 a year in west-euro-buro

so the state "gets nothing" ? (imagine that ..)

if that entity (say "person" ?) makes €1200 somehow by itself it offsets the otherwise minimum survival income

THEY have the same amount and dont have to get handouts

here's the kicker :

the state has a NET+ of 1200 there b/c it doesnt have to give it out (thats a lot over a whole country they can spend on diplomat xtc parties with underage male prostitutes in brussels during or out of covid lockdowns, they can even throw OCMW champagne parties with that)

in an medium to advanced culture the money can go to anywhere from healthcare to sustainable (does not say "green") says sustainable

industries or anything constructive thats not on the inside of one persons pockets

b/c its absolute minimum ofcourse all the money WILL BE SPENT
what does that mean :

the state gets VAT
the state gets taxes from the merchants selling items

the merchants get income from the sales

its like a win-win-win-win for the state

...

and a few dozen to hundred more theories running around for decades, not necessarily on the high end of the average-Q (we dont understand why humans are so stuck on the i ... its Apple perhaps?) like those who collected anonymous or those who wrote the modern sociology papers that were available at Anarplex ...

but it says "no taxes" so they'll get an epilleptic fit even if the numbers say win win win win / positive balance double whammy

if that entity gets only 400 the state will have to add 800

if they get 1300 they have to pay for the 100 extra (so in this here fine soviet-democracy at minimal rates they would have 1266 or something left)

if the guy or gal is lucky and they get a hit gameboy game on itch they have a minimal survivable income for 5 years, accounting current inflation (thats what you get for not using universal energy values as currency) that would be 4 or something

4 years the state needs hand nothing and have more champagne and xtc parties

4 years the guy or gal gets the same amount as other , only with the pride of not having had a handout

4 years the state gets VAT anywa

4 years the state gets taxes via merchant sales anyway

4 years the mercs get income
