RE: Why? Just because they can do it? Intentionally trying to harm others in social media. Smh...
I found this reading very interesting.
In my country this practice is very common but generally driven by political reasons. It seeks to destroy the image of any adversary. In fact, there is talk of an army of cyber-nauts who work for the government 24 hours doing dirty work on social networks.
Almost unbelievable.
Hello Juan,
thanks for your comment!
I guess it's a little naive to expect people to behave fair and good in social media where their personal stakes of having to fear retaliation or any kind or consequence of any sort are a lot lower than in real life.
I'm afraid the anonymity factor on sm rather works as an amplifier for malevolent actions even.
...but the internet never forgets!
I'm not so sure that their opsec will ensure their anonymity for ever.
Cheers!

They really don't care how long they can remain anonymous.
The important thing is the psychosocial work that they can develop to influence the population. In fact twitter has deleted thousands of accounts. But they reopen thousands more. They have an army of people dedicated daily to this work. Cyberwar.
ps: I sent you a telegram.
