The walking dead is finally.. dead.

Overall, I think The Walking Dead ended about as well as could be expected.

There were mistakes made along the run of the series that made a perfect ending impossible -- I mean, there was no way to handle the Rick thing, on top of wrapping everything else, in one episode.

Still, it was an emotionally poignant finale which did serve as a good send-off.

No matter how you put it, it's a curse of the television medium that it's almost impossible to resolve a decade worth of content in a satisfying way.
