The point is, much of what we accept as fact today was mysterious witchcraft 200 years ago. Many predict many more discoveries and theories to be exposed soon. Perhaps things we think we know will be disclosed as fiction and things we consider fiction will become modern fact.

I quite agree with you on this. Many years ago things like Argumented reality, artificial intelligence, long distance communication, etc. were all fiction and what was only seen in the mind but today, it's a reality.

Who knows, Maybe in the future what we think we know today will turn out to pure fiction and those things we think are fictions and will not be possible will become a reality - and oh!! It's happening already.
