Taveras is indicated as "Trump employee 4" in the superseding indictment against Trump in the classified documents case. He was the IT employee that Trump, Nauta, and De Oliveira allegedly talked to in order to delete the surveillance footage at Mar-a-Lago.

"After receiving the target letter, Taveras changed lawyers because his attorney, Stan Woodward, also represented Nauta, which presented a conflict, sources said."
