No, Trump absolutely did NOT vow to reinvestigate 9/11! (Video)
And he's definitely NOT a 9/11 truther!
Here's just one more example of how the "alternative" or "truth" media outlets can be every bit as dishonest as the mainstream media, if not much more so. And this particular example shows that this kind of dishonest, irresponsible journalism can contribute to the brainwashing of the public every much as "Big Media."
Several similar, if not identical, articles have been shared across social media claiming Donald Trump has vowed to reinvestigate 9/11. The problem with this particular story, as with many like it, is that it's not just deceptive—it's completely false.
The biggest problem may be with people posting these articles is that in many cases, they obviously may have not even read these articles aside from the headline before believing it, posting it, and expecting others to read it. It's been shown that as many as 60% of social media users don't even read what they post, so this is a definite possibility.
If they did bother to actually read it, they're obviously not very discerning, because many versions of this story do not contain one single quote or reference as to when and where Trump supposedly said such a thing. That should be an instant red flag that what you're reading is an exaggeration, if not a complete falsehood.
This kind of shoddy journalism also may not just be due to sloppiness, but a willingness to deceive their readers, since anyone challenging what's written is forced to prove a negative. And it's likely that these dishonest "news" sites will have no problem getting their unwitting readers to not just believe this story, but share the rumor with others.
This is because, as is the case with many such spurious news articles, many people are desperate to project their political wishes on their favorite candidate, despite that candidate having never endorsed any of those policies. And they'll often be so desperate to do this that they'll often become extremely angry, and attack anyone who would point out that they're being lied to.
Often this behavior may simply be a way to save face for feeling foolish, since those people are usually the same ones that brag about how "awake" they are and constantly tell others to "do their research." If you're one of these people, you're going to have a real tough time defending your gullibility and/or willful self-delusion if you read further.
The only versions of this article that do provide a quote, provide the following:
“'First of all, the original 9/11 investigation is a total mess and has to be reopened' Trump announced to supporters. 'How do two planes take out three buildings in the same day? I never got my head around the fact that nothing is mentioned about the destruction of Building 7 in the 585 page document.'”
Another quote by another site lists a different quote to uphold their assertion:
“'Why did the administration at the time not take legal means against Saudi Arabia? Weren’t 19 of the high-jackers from Saudi Arabia?' he asked aloud. 'Americans deserve answers and I would definitely request a new investigation so that this horrible tragedy never happens again.'”
The problem with these quotes is they're both TOTALLY FAKE, which you can definitively verify for yourself if you read to the end of this article. If you do a search for the first statement within quotations, the only results you will find are all birdcage liner-type alternative media websites that have a history of putting out exaggerated and false stories like this. The second quote, very suspiciously, returns only one single result.
If your reply is that the mainstream media is probably not reporting it, you have a major mental hurdle to clear if you'd like to believe that. Consider this: the mainstream media has not been friendly to Trump and has used anything he's said that even hints at a conspiracy theory to attack him.
Do you think that if Trump made such an explicit suggestion that 9/11 was an inside job, that they'd not have been all over this? Also, if Trump said such a thing at a rally, why would many of them post multiple videos within their articles in some cases, yet none of them posts the actual video from the rally where he said it?
Lastly, there was one website that actually did give a context of where and when Trump supposedly made this statement. But again, they did not post the date, only the county in which it was held, which was Henrico County, Va. Of course, they gave no date, likely to make it difficult to verify. But since only one Trump rally was held there, it's still possible for anyone willing to take the time to do some searching and verify that this story is a total fabrication.
Not only did Trump not say any of the things claimed by these sites; he didn't even speak about the entire issue of 9/11 at any point during his speech! These websites are obviously counting on people being too lazy to go search for the video and watch it themselves. So if there are any further objections, just watch Trump's speech during his Richmond, Va. rally on October 14, 2015 in its entirety and see for yourself.

It's also worth noting that many discerning 9/11 truthers who're actually paying attention do not in any way see Donald Trump as friendly to their movement. Aside from simply accusing George W. Bush of incompetence, or suggesting that there may also have been some Saudi involvement, Trump has done nothing but reinforce the official story.
In fact, he plans to appoint many neocons to key appointmens in his administration once in office. This includes reports that he's considered appointing Rudy Giulliani—of all people— as his attorney general, a move that, if true, definitely doesn't seem like it should indicate to 9/11 truthers that there'll be any investigation or punishment of any guilty parties if he's even considered it.
It's bad enough when candidates lie, but the deception of voters in this case cannot be placed at the feet of Donald Trump. The deception is on the part of these "truth" websites that are, for some reason, willing to lie to their readers by concocting fake stories to get their favorite candidate elected.
This time, it looks like many of these pro "9/11 truth" sites are now totally willing to be absolutely untruthful by preying on 9/11 truthers to promote Donald Trump's candidacy, as well as to get clicks on their websites, or to sell them male enhancement supplements, storable food, and water filters.

Great article. It's too bad he isn't reopening the investigation. It was a criminal act. :(
Thanks for checking ot out! And I agree. That's not to say it may not happen to some degree, but these stories are just hokey nonsense. For the time being there sure is no indication it'll happen, especially if he plans to appoint Rudy Giulliani of all people as attorney general! If you have people posting stuff like this in your social media lists, please share as well!
Will do.
