Also, accounts that allow people to earn from delegation (like I am working on with this one) would find it easier to attract outside investors, by eliminating the hassle/steps you describe of multiple transfers.
"Just open a Steemit account, buy Steem, Power Up, delegate it to me, and I'll get you X% APR...." would be the pitch.
