My experience planning a trip to Copenhagen (Denmark)
After working since three hard months in an enterprise where I have been exploted and I should work more hours than the contract said (this is Spain), finally I have been paid the big quantity of 400€. Thanks god my couple has 350€ so we can finally go on a trip to Copenhagen, Capital of Denmark!
Booking the flight and finding a place to stay!
As quick as I got paid, I started to search the best flights from my city to the Scandinavian Capital. After searching day to day, I found the best price on November: 3 days, 63€ per person! It seemed awesome, so I didn't doubt and booked it.
The next step was looking for a good place to stay these 3 days. Normally, people try to get a room in a hotel but our budget wasn't so high, then we searched on Wimdu and Aribnb for a cheap and good private room or apartment. Sequently, we booked a great room in the 'Hipster neighborhood' (as it's known sometimes) of Copenhagen, Nørrebro. This option was the best because the price was in total 85€ per person and it was 15 minutes walking far from the city center. You can have a look to Nørrebro in the following pictures!
Going from the airport to the city center
If someone is contemplating the possibility of take a trip to Copenhagen, I guess this next information is going to be very useful.
To go from the Kastrup Airport (the main airport of Denmark) to the Central Station of Copenhagen, you will have to take a Bus, train or subway. These three options are very good because the price is around the 4-5€ and it takes only 12 minutes to reach the destiny. Besides, each transport stops in the Terminal 3 (Kastrup Airport) every 5 minutes! So don't worry if you miss it once! As I know, you can get the journey ticket paying with Euros or Danish Krones (local coin) and you can use cash or card!
After we'll arrive to the Airbnb house and we take a breath, we will visit a lot of places of the city, which you can watch in the following pictures too!
Good places we'll visit
Frederiksberg (Palace and Park)
Tívoli Gardens (Theme Park)
Copenhagen Mermaid
Christiansborg
Nyhavn
Sporvejen (The oldest Danish tram turned restaurant)
I hope you like some of the places we are going to visit! Actually, I would really like to know if someone have ever gone to Copenhagen and tell me his opinion, how was it and that things! By the way, sorry for the pics resolution :(
Can't wait to take my bag and get into the plane!
