RE: The Dirt King -- WindRoamer Tricycle ~ Original "Some Assembly Required" Project ~
Thanks so much for the look and compliment. I greatly appreciate it. Ahh yes, the BigWheel. Used to have friends who lived in an appartment complex that had kids that rode those things all over, all waking hours. Talk about a racket, when they slid around corners, burning the giant plastic wheels as they skidded in circles. Yee haa.
I like your Olympic idea. Should send that one on ahead to the committee. Boy, talk about broken ankles though. Get those things going downhill about 78mph and lose your feet from the pedals...another Yeee Haaa. Thanks again, and keep smiling as well.
It's the suspension on the tricycle that inspired the thought as I could see the 10" shocks and super beefy futuristic frames and, of course, the necessary harnessed-seat withheld in a suspension bubble holding you in as you are going down well over the speed limit! Your thoughts sounded more like a "Yeeee Houuuuutch!"
By the way, I hope the BigWheel neighbours weren't upstairs neighbours!?! Namaste :)
I think you have a future as an Olympic BigWheel RaceAbout Trike designer. You've got all those great design ideas down pat. I fully expect we'll lose you from Steemit, to a beach in Aruba, once that ship sails in. Please remember us...
Never thought about the kids riding those things around INDOORS, a floor above. Talk about mayhem and bad neighbor relations. Loud enough outside. I think they designed the wheels to sound "cool", when riding. Better add that design gem to your Olympic Dream Cycles idea. Remember, I get 1/2 credit...
