Can Google be Beaten

It’s very easy to know how to beat google.

It’s just difficult to implement it.

If you want to beat Google, develop something which makes searching the internet obsolete.

Google’s entire business model is working because people search the internet.

They make money when you open your browser and search anything using Google.

Of course, internet is huge and you’ll always need a search engine. But, there are companies which are taking away categories of search from Google.

For example, Amazon.

Yes, you read that right.

Amazon, and not Bing, is currently beating Google.[1]

If you buy a lot of things from Amazon, when you are going to make your next purchase, where would you search for that product?

Google, or Amazon?

When you want to buy a product, using Amazon just makes more sense.

So that’s one category of searches which Google is losing.

When you want to search that girl or boy in your college or office, where do you search?

Google, or Facebook/LinkedIn?

Unless you are searching for a famous personality, I don’t think Google will be of much help here.

That’s two categories where Google is losing or has already lost.

That’s one of the reason why Google is making its search engine as inclusive as possible. So that, you get what you want without leaving Google or Google’s products.
