MCDONALD'S FLIPPING GOLDEN ARCHES FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

in #trending7 years ago (edited)

Today McDonald's is Flipping the Golden Arches upside down in celebration of International Women's Day. Back in the 60's, what came to light from a report on the BBC; is the golden arches with the bursting red background subliminally represented a woman's breasts, which in turn gave the notion of the breasts being the first thing that fed you.  This was almost the end of the golden arches, McDonald's psychologist consultant, Louis Cheskin, (yes they have psychologists, for marketing), advised them to keep it, stating that it will attract more people.

Now that the M is flipped over, it really serves it's purpose of what it's suppose to represent. Now, is this a celebration for women's day?  Or, is this just another psychological experiment done by the Mcdonald's "psychological consultants"  to attract more customers?  Just another corporate social experiment, using women as sex objects to up sell their product? Guess we'd have to check Mcdonald's "visit demographics" to determine this. After this write up, I do However, feel like a $1.69 mcdouble made of due worms and soyalent  green.  Is this my subconscious attracting me to the golden W; or maybe it's just lunch time and I am actually hungry.  You be the jury.
