Conociendo Salamanca
Good night steemit, in September we left my wife and I on a trip to Salamanca we had wanted to know that wonder of the city but always we had some glue and we could not organize, but this time we could fulfill it and we set off for the land Charra. Once you enter the lands of his province you notice a considerable change, extensions of Dehesas with the Oaks and the Moruchas cows typical of this land grazing freely with the pigs sharing time and land without haste, as it seems to be stop and go back to ancient times.
Our apartment was in the modern part, but only 12 minutes walk from the historic center of Salamanca so we left our bags and headed to enjoy the old city, as soon as you enter one of the streets that take you to the Plaza Mayor you notice the change in the architecture and layout of the streets, and we had the surprise and the luck that were the Major Festivals and the beginning of the university course with what there were more people than usually visits Salamanca.
The first thing we saw is the Church of San Juan de Sahagún, in the streets around it had set up stalls of several typical restaurants, offering their typical tapas at fair prices very good dishes and very good atmosphere at any time of the day, those stalls were for the whole Of the Old City from noon until night, filling up at rush hour people trying and enjoying the Fair.
After replenishing strength with these tapas we continued with our visit on the first day, the street took us directly to the Plaza Mayor, also very changed looking with a stage for the daily performances of musical groups and various activities that composed the festivities, it was impressive the people who gathered and that said Plaza together with that of Madrid are twins and very spacious, since the architect who built them made them the same, the first was that of Salamanca.
