We have discussed some of the man-made cave paintings in Europe at the end of the Old Stone Age. They were painted from 32,000 to 17,000 thousand years ago.

Before that, the Blombos Cave was the first human studio in South Africa, 72,000 years ago. The geometric pattern of human paintings on the rock fragments found in the cave is astonishing. They wore necklaces with a beautiful shell. They had the power to imagine. However, no image was found in the cave.

Now let's talk about our dear brother, Neanderthals. Modern humans and Neanderthals are not separate species. They lived in geographically isolated regions for a long time. Neanderthals survived from about 4.5 million to 35 thousand years ago. They have lived in Europe for a long time and also lived in Central and West Asia.

Modern people and Neanderthals were able to have sex between themselves. Not only that, their children have also been able to give birth to the next generation naturally. Even today outside of Africa, all human beings live in the world 1 - 2% Neanderthal gene.

However, it was supposed that they are not intelligent. They are not as advanced like humans. Recently, their painted images were found in the spain of 65 thousand years ago. Various types of images were found in three cave in West Spain. These have been drawn from 64 to 66 thousand years. This is the oldest cave in the world. Neanderthals already settled in Europe. And modern people have gone to Europe just 40 thousand years ago today.

They are drawn with a red primer. A picture looks a lot like a ladder. Apart from the ladders, they have some points and handprints. There is a debate over the heads of the animal inside the ladder, which may have been drawn by humans later.

It can not be understood why they have drawn the pictures in a terrible dark cave, where there are stalactite and stalagmite. There may have been special reasons.
