NOTES FOR A PERFECT TRIP TO SINGAPORE

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

In recent years, Singapore tourism has become "hotter" than ever. With tourist attractions attractive, diverse cuisine, the bustling shopping center attracts people arriving Lion Island to explore.
So what to prepare to enjoy a trip to Singapore.

Cash and credit card

  • Before traveling to Singapore, travelers should bring a certain amount of money, if possible, carry a credit card. Because when you leave, customs officers will check the amount of cash you bring into their country. If the amount is less than $ 5,000, you do not need to declare. But if it's more than $ 5,000, you have to do paperwork. It is quite complicated.
If you choose to change the currency in Singapore, you should choose the currency exchange counter with a license. Thus, the price will be better than the exchange in hotels or banks.

Contact information

  • This is one of the most important things when traveling in Singapore in particular and traveling abroad in general. The gap in language, culture, society ... will make you have difficulty, obstacle if you accidentally lost and want to call someone.
Therefore, these are the urgent numbers you need to remember when traveling in Singapore: 999 police, 995 ambulance, 1800-736 2000 tourist information, 1800-542 4422 flight information.

Tip

  • In Singapore, tipping is not mandatory, if you like, you tip, do not like does not matter, no one blame you at all.

Hopefully the above article has provided you with the most essential information if you intend to travel in the near future.

I'm always thinking about the people under the Marina Bay, what if the water falls out of the pool?

I am thinking of moving there for a while, and heard i need to master wechat, is it that hard to use?

I've been wanting to visit Singapore for quite some time I just never have, but it's definitely on my list of places to visit. Hopefully one day!

Top of my list for places to visit in the region at years end.
Great post and pics!

good post, your sucses

I got "kicked out" of Singapore. It's a funny story. I still don't know exactly why. It was like a perfect storm of minor decisions. So I went to Penang and have been in Malaysia ever since. I'm due to go back to Singapore 22 July. Wish me luck.
