However I almost got robbed there, first time ever in Latin America, frankly your comparing one not safe country against another and another. Singapore where you are is like 100% safer. All of Latin America has thuggy side that has left a sour taste in my mouth, but Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay are way less offending. Correct.
