My trip to Greece, an awesome country.

Hi my dear colleagues and partners from steemit, today I would like to share with you a trip that I made to a particular, magic, wonderful and beautiful country like Greece, it has a lot of special stuff. Most probably because its age, culture and so many influences from each empire that conquest in the past. I had the opportunity to visit its capital Athens and three of its most famous islands which are Santorin, Mykonos and Rhodes, but I think you need more time for visiting more places in that country, there is an amazing history in each place that I visited, I felt that I was in a fairly tale, you can imagine plenty things there, believe me when I tell you that country is magic. Its food is unique too; I enjoyed each aspect of Greece.

Athens is its capital, a city with old and modern temples from different religions, some of them with more than 3000 years old, houses and building, it has monumental places like the first place where people played Olympics games or many museums around the city with a historical heritage. In my opinion, the best place is the sacred rock of Acropolis, it has a spectacular view of the city and it has an important masterpiece of architecture in the world, The Parthenon. I think this is the biggest attraction in this city. It was much bigger that I thought when I saw pictures in high school, the Parthenon is located in a top of a mountain and you can see others ancient temples since there, as I am showing in my photos.

After being in the capital I went to Santorin, the most beautiful island in Greece, well this is my opinion of course, I highly recommend visiting I you have to chose one or two islands in your itinerary, because there are others, here you can find a lots streets where there are restaurants, shops and little hotels for being, I could see a lot of couple spending their honey moon there, the view it spectacular, and most of the places were painted in white, somebody from the place told me they painted the places three times each month, can you imagine that?

My third place visited in Greece was Rhodes. I arrived there by ferry, this places was very different that I saw in the others, it had more medieval places, and its streets are complete different, some of them were made with stones, The mediaeval Old Town, which has been declared as Unesco World Heritage Site, is big and it is protect by a big wall around the place, you can find some stores where they sell artisanal souvenirs and restaurant with typical food. Inside the old town is the Palace of the Grand Masters, which has spectacular towers, nowadays is a wonderful museum. Another interesting place that I sow ins this island was the Street of the Knights, a famous road in Rhodes; but there are Luxury resorts and villages too there, and their beaches are beautiful too.

My last Greek island visited was Mykonos, its name become from grandson of Apollo, it has beautiful beaches, some of them are very famous in Europe, people say this island is like Ibiza, that’s why it is a reference en summer for people around the world, the nightlife is amazing, you can find discos, clubs and places for after parties which are open until 11:00 am; Most of its streets are narrow; there are famous brand stores like Nike, Puma and others, but they don’t change the original aspect of the island; you can find restaurants on the streets with typical food in any place around the town, there are a lot of them. I could take a bath in one of its multiples beaches and it was a wonderful experience.
