'Traditional Silver Jewellery'

crta.png

In a little street full of cheap clothes vendors, I find Hrvoje. A talkative fellow who specialises in making silver jewellery. But, not just any kind. He crafts the traditional jewellery that was used by Croatian women throughout the history. These are not boring eastern imports one can find in every corner of Europe.

He explains that frequenting museums, gathering images of archaeological finds and more is a part of his job. He's been doing this for the last 25 years. As you can see, it doesn't look easy to make these the same way they were made centuries ago.

He got this sale spot just recently. Before he was mainly selling at various festivals and fairs. This is the move in the right direction for the city. How many tourists are interested in rows and rows of cheap textile garbage clogging a street?

Hrvoje is also repairing and restoring all sorts of old pieces. Old crafts are so important. Once the techniques are forgotten, they are gone and if need be, they'll need to be reinvented in the future. I believe old crafts should be protected and respected immensely as cultural heritage.

His main customers were folklore groups, traditional dancers and similar groups of interest but today more and more tourists find beauty in this ancient pieces. I am no jewellery expert but I find them quite refreshing for the eye. With the low price of silver, they are quite affordable, too.

Enjoy your day! :-)

Love and love and attention to people who can give women jewelry as a gift. Every type of jewelry you give to a loved one has its own meaning.

To make sure you get the best, you will always have what you want to say and still look good on you or your lover.

Bracelet when a man wants to give a bracelet as a gift, then he tries to express the feeling that he cares about you. It also means that they want to start a special relationship with you. The most commonly presented bracelet is the charm bracelet.

Earrings Do you find a charming property? The earrings also have different meanings depending on the type. Earrings pearls are usually given if the introductory relationship has not been too long. This is a symbol that he enjoy every moment you pass along. After a longer relationship and he gave earrings- diamond earrings, then he shows that you and the people are precious. In addition, diamond earrings also symbolize in order to be able to marry you in the future.

Ring If you find a ring, the meaning inside is deeper. The ring can make the woman who receives it will be happy, other than that women who receive jewelry women will also smile all day for that meaning. The gemstone in the ring. Saphire symbolizes sincerity and loyalty. Opal symbolizes the belief in the relationship that goes to the diamond stones is an invitation to a higher relationship. A diamond stone in a woman's jewelry is a symbol of the seriousness and commitment of love to you.

And Giving a necklace as a gift is a symbol of a special relationship between the giver and you the recipient of the gift. If you are looking for people who are indirect you will strengthen the established relationship. Necklaces can also be interpreted as a symbol of love, especially if the necklace is processing heart shape. If the necklace uses a photo frame, he wants you to keep it in mind.

Wow, This man belongs to my field.
I'm a goldsmith ;)
do you know how difficult is it to make jewelry,

It divides into several steps.

First, We mix some impurity in Gold or silver, because it is Necessary to mold while making jewelry.

Then we melt it, you will be amazed to know gold melt at 1,064 °C,
We use the burner to accomplish this task.

Then we mold it according to the need by watching design we are to make,

Then we Combine these molded pieces again with heat and burner.

After combining them, We send it for polish and then i present on the jewelers to sale out.

How do I like these products. I am a supporter of the preservation of cultural heritage and I like watching the culture of other countries and peoples.
I believe that the state should help craftsmen and craftsmen who recreate the cultural heritage of the country with their work. All countries are different and with different cultures, that's why our differences make us special.
This person creates very beautiful jewelry. A wide range and a large selection of its main advantage. Manual work always had a higher price. I wish good luck to this man.
Good day

The pieces are beautiful. We have local craft shows and markets where people will sell their handmade jewellery. I tend to refer to it as art. The creativity and passion that goes into making these pieces is amazing and no two pieces are exactly alike. These artists have a very special skill. Sometimes people will complain about the price of these items but those people don't understand the time spent onthem.

I just love seeing traditional art like this. It seems to me to be important.

I have a small, traditional Navajo blanket. It's called a sample blanket because of the size. It's all I can afford :) The first ex traded some in Navajo Jewelry. She was an artist (with college degree in art) She admired the Navajo items because of the art. I lost custody of those items...

Since then I have refrained from buying genuine Indigenous art. I understand that some one will gladly pay the price, but it doesn't seem the sort of thing to be bought and sold to me.

Thanks for a great look at a local craft and craftsman.

traditional items are quite rare now. The present generation is no longer willing to learn about the history of the country. you can come to Indonesia, many tribes in one country. probably no other country. Each province has its own distinctive characteristics with its customary clothing. Aceh, Sumatra, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Papua and others

I know that guy! My wife and I also make some crafts so we met him on a one of the markets where we were selling those stuff.
He is full of knowledge in his field and he is willing to share.
Respect to Hrvoje and to you for letting his story reach more people.

I share your opinion the artisanal techniques must be taken into account and respected giving them a priority. With this new technological revolution they have been given a place behind the curtain, ignoring their importance in the world "remembering that without history there is no future".

Svaka cast, stvarno imas zanimljive postove! :)
