TRAVEL GUIDE Visiting Africa Kenya: Nairobi and Mombasa
TRAVEL DATASHEET KENYA 2017
So guys I visited Kenya for over a month and I have previously been to South America and SE Asia.
I am a veteran traveler in my mid thirties and young looking.
I have some family heritage in Africa so I was expecting paradise and to not be treated like a foreigner... oh dear.....
I will let you guys decide from the video. (It was the only place I have been to where the police wanted a payment to film because of security concerns) LOL
Stopped TWICE by machine gun totting soldiers in street because they saw I looked foreign to them and asked for money.... FFS
KEY TIP Key is to show confidence and tell them what do you want from e I am British/American
They soon back down. Take balls though and a little risky otehrwise they make a big scene and might get unpleasant
I even had to record and turn my phone portrait to pretaned I was talking or soldiers/police will stop yo in the streets. Neer seen anything anywhere else in the world. Well I suppose I haven't visited N. Korea yet....
Fishing lover will LOVE Mombasa
Recommended! I caught my first fish ever!
For me I didn't go on SAFARI which is over-sold and too expensive and for newbie sucker tourists in my opinion
$5000 USD for 2 weeks in the bush? No thanks... I went to the city zoo for a private tour atfer slipping one of the gamekeepers $5 LOL
Same animals and you can see it all in 2 hours LMAO!

Definitely for more RISK taking travelers ;-)
-PROS
Women are aggressive and horny, plenty opportunity for sex and fun.
Weather is good and people are chilled out
Coast of Kenya Mombasa worth a visit after stressful Nairobi
Good fishing in Mombasa
Animal wildlife Zoos and Safari
-NEGS
Pretty unstable and corrupt
Harassed just walking down street (very unusual and have not experienced in another country before or since)
No problems with traditional "Criminals" as thieves are literally beaten to death in the street (for real)
The Police and Soldiers will be your biggest concern....
Too many people in overcrowded Nairobi
OVERALL SCORE 4/10
Worth visiting ONCE mostly for novelty or if you like African girls (which I do) just remember to strap up, better safe than dead with lethal STDs. Very expensive accomodation so go the AIRbnb route.
Safety 5/10
Entertainment 5/10
Value for Money 3/10
