Spectacular! Thanks for this beautiful gift you are sharing in steemit and youtube! I like to see drone videos because I feel like I'm there flying over the place. In addition, the landscape is beautiful!

Thank you @leilanyarevalo 😁🙏 drone is toy to have, you can see and observe so much more then human eyes 👀😁

This is SO awesome, bro! Fantastic work. The music is killer, the shots are stunning and it's put together so nicely! Great job.

I LOVE that reveal shot of the peninsula. Water on either side and then the land just trails off into the distance under clouds and fog. So cool. And what a way to wrap it up with that final shot. SO cool.

Keep up the sick drone vids man! I love em all. You've got a real talent for them.

Thank you @jocqua, its nice to hear :) I know still a lot to learn, like color grading . Would like to ask then you puting a video link, its embed or just copied? Notice on partiko app no sound then video plays. Thank you

There's definitely an art to color grading. I'm still learning it. But it's a good one to know! I'm a big fan of using LUTs. Check that out if you're not familiar.

I've never used the partiko app so I can't say for sure what's going on there. When putting a video into my post I just use the link for the video. I don't use the embed code. I'm not sure what the difference is. I'm only using the website interface and that seems to work great for me.

Let me know if you have any other questions though, I'm happy to help if I can.

Hi @jocqua, I am using Luts as well, but sometimes you need a small touch in color grading as well :)

Absolutely. What have you been using for it? I generally just keep it all in Adobe Premiere but I know there are other applications just for color grading. Curious if you use anything different.

I am FCPX user, it’s running very nice and quick on my MacBook Pro 👍👌 I know it’s more possibilities on Adobe pro, but at a moment it’s ok 😁

Oh I'm sure FCPX is just as good. Once upon a time I used Final Cut Pro 7 but decided to switch to Adobe once Apple stopped supporting it. It's all the same, just a different tool.

Resteemed for the win! Fantastic work.

Thank you my friend :)

Wow, @tomsmaid.

This is impressive drone camera work. I liked the straight up, and horizontal/vertical tracking shots the best. Very clean—each one could have been longshot setups to scenes or transitions in a feature film of some kind.

I don't know if it was youtube or the camera being moved, but since it seems obvious that you were able to control the camera in flight, there was some very slight stuttering when the camera was being tilted. It was still amazing to watch, though. The resolution of the entire video is amazing.

I've been amazed lately by just how straight these drones fly. The aerial shots are very much like a professional sized movie camera being bolted into a plane of helicopter for a fly over. Just incredible to think how much technology has advanced.

Well done. I'm glad you were able to at least get the drone in the air for these shots. Very much worth the effort. Thanks for sharing, and congratulations on the curie. :)

Hi @glenalbrethsen, glad you like my film :) those shots in alps been shot only after couple of months owning Dji Mavic pro drone and that slight stuttering when camera was tilted was my mistake with gimball tilt setup. Now i know a bit more every day of owning and using it :) still a lot to learn in technics of using and filming. Its a nice toy to have, expensive but worth it :)

I have a couple of different drones I've either received as a gift or bought, but they're both really small and don't fly that well outdoors. I've been eyeing the Mavic Pro for a long time. One of these days. I'd love to take it somewhere and capture video like you've done here. It's amazing how some places just look that much more spectacular from overhead. :)

Well, I'm glad you're getting the hang of things. I still say it was a great video, issues with tilting or no.

No issues with tilting, just changed tilting sensitivity in settings, that would tilt a bit slower and smoother. At a moment Dji company the best in a market. That’s why you can see on price 😁

Wow @tomsmaid, you did it. While I watch the video, it came to my mind that your drone video shooting can promote tourism. It not just scenery, you also video how tourist enjoy the place. Were you capture your family in the video as well, the cute little girl. I love the waterfall and the sea. Drone really amazing and able to capture all the scenery from above, and you have edited it very well.
I always wonder, do you need license to fly a drone? or it has rule and regulation on how high a drone could fly.

Hi @oliviackl, glad you like it :) at a moment in uk you don't need a license, but in every country different regulations and its better not to use it around populated areas, airports. Nature is a perfect place :)

Hi @tomsmaid, Thanks for letting me know. I always wondered whether flying a drone required a license, at least now i knew that UK does not required. Nature really is an amazing place especially when you able to took it from a distance and each corner of it.

I like the variety that is appearing in your video. You have there so many roads, lakes, fields and mountain views.. Great selection!

I see that the conditions were not ideal for shooting but this is how nature is :) And you did the best out of what was offered to you. I actually like that we can see the clouds, the sun and the snow as well. It makes your video lively and special.

My favorite part would be where the land was splitting the lake/sea? in half.. do you know where is this place? It's definitely worth a visit!

Thank you for sharing! Oh, and I love the music that you selected :)

Thank you @delishtreats for a nice words 😁🙏 a place that you mentioned is lake “Lago di Garda” and small town “Sirmione” really nice place to visit.

Posted using Partiko iOS

Is this Lago di Garda? I've never seen it from such a perspective. Well, I haven't been there yet but I've seen many photos and short movies from this lake. I don't live that far away so I think next time in spring it will finally be time for me to visit it :) Thank you for the information!
