** GUATAPE EL PEÑOLl !! the great meteorite that was found in antioquia-colombia part 2 The Town under the water and its majestic dam

good afternoon colleagues from the steemit community I present below the second part of my visit to guatape el peñol and his people

under these beautiful waters that can be seen in the photo, an entire town is submerged, little by little it was suffering a flood to create an industrial size dam to supply the country with natural energy such as the famous hydroelectric power plants.

there was a strategic space on the map, which had a river that if used correctly could become a large public economic and private project. the people who lived in the old town were removed from there before planning the flooding of the land where corn, tomatoes, etc. were previously planted.

it did not matter that the community intervened on this event the companies and the government after this project tried to achieve it, causing the population to have to be relocated in another place feeling like strangers and abandoning their roots, in this beautiful dam.

Today many tourists walk in boats and tourist boats giving life to a fantastic destination there a small place where they built a small replica of what was the previous town and how was its structure and its beautiful church which obviously captured with my camera.

the new town and already located is really beautiful full of houses with colorful skirting boards and many vendors there where you can enjoy a delicious meal and an experience thrown from a garrucha.
