Awesome Origami Display at Narita Airport

in #travel7 years ago

If you happen to fly to Japan, even just for a transit, via Narita Airport, don't miss their awesome origami (paper folding art) display.

The variety of themes are incredible and the talent(s) behind them certainly are marvelous. I mean, the creations are about Cinderella (imagine the Disney cartoon, with awesome princess gown, pumpkin carriage, etc, made of folded papers. Wowzer!), dinosaurs, nativity scene, even a theme that I think it was about Hercules (who would have thought to create this theme 👍). And tons more.

Check some of the pictures that we took while at Narita. We took a lot, but flooding this post would be too much 😉

Most likely depicting Japanese performers/dancers:

This could be the royal family?

And wow check out this one, the creator needed a microscope to create the little ones

Since my son liked the display so much, his father got him two origami books. But sadly he couldn't really follow the instructions, so his mama is the one who always be bugged to create some 😂

Like this one, not too bad right? 😉😉
