Goa has a number of beautiful cafe’s with amazing food but this one will leave you dumbstruck. The aura of this place plus the food there equal to WOW. We went there for brunch. We were just looking for a good place to eat. I found this place on TripAdvisor and it was looking amazing in pictures. Also, the reviews were amazing. As soon as we entered the place, we were amazed to see that it was looking even more prepossessing in real!

LOCATION

It is located along the Anjuna Flea Market road. It reminisces of a typical Mediterranean cafe. This place has an absolutely fantastic ambiance. It’s a very charming cafe and is embellished beautifully. It is run out of a Portuguese villa that has a large garden space around with hammocks, tree-houses, and even a book-exchange library. So if you are planning to visit the Anjuna’s flea market, don’t forget to miss it. And even if you are not, then visiting Anjuna only for this amazing cafe is totally worth it.

FOR THE FOODIES

This charming and vibrant place serves Mediterranean cuisine and healthy food. It has a stupendous variety of food. The menu features an all-day breakfast with farm fresh eggs, muesli and a variety of luscious pancake, a selection of fresh salads, delicious sandwiches, and the freshly prepared vegetable juices. The cost for two here is $12.

We ordered a Fruit Salad with Vanilla Ice Cream, Maple Syrup and Butter Waffles, Banana Lassi, Special Breakfast (which includes two Eggs, White Cheese, Tuna, Avocado, tahini, garden salad and a tea or coffee), Artjuna Breakfast (which includes a Sandwich, a glass of fresh Fruit Juice and a Tea or a Coffee) and Tulsi Tea. The food was delectable and appetizing. I really loved the Fruit Salad. Fruits were dipped in vanilla Ice cream and honey. I totally loved the combination. Also, their coffee was so refreshing and energizing. And all this cost $21 only!

ARTJUNA LIBRARY

Apart from a magnificent place and scrumptious food, Artjuna has a mini library too. Sounds wonderful, no? They have a great collection of books. So you can find your favorite book to read. Or if you are done reading your old book, you can exchange with some other book from their collection!

Artjuna has an amazing store too. They have beautiful handmade Bohemian Jewellery and Accessories. You can find amazing designs there. Though it’s a little expensive. They sell online too. You can check out their collection on Instagram: @artjuna_collection
