If you travel in the countryside of Thailand, you will see many fascinating things that can impress you. Apart from famous places like beaches or mountains, I also like to see other little things that someone may overlook.

I will show you some photos of the fascinating places and things that can attract me in this post…

First is the natural attraction called Bueng Boraphet which is the largest freshwater lake in Thailand. It’s also the largest freshwater fish breeding station and home to many species of birds.

This place is where you can relax in the fresh air and admire spectacular scenery. The water in the lake is crystal clear and refreshingly cool.

Second is the shrine of our ancient King called Somdet Phra Chao Taksin Maharat Shrine.

The architecture of the shrine is magnificent. The surrounding nature and the scenery of the mountain is wonderful.

Third is another beautiful architecture of the building with marvelous white chedi in the background and the awesome sacred statue of Vessavana standing in front of.

Fourth is the ruins of the foundation of the old square pagoda. It was said that the ruler had tied his elephant at this place when he came to worship the relics of the Lord Buddha at Wat Pratart Don Toa in Lampang province, in the North of Thailand.

Fifth is the old big car that is parked among nature in the mountain.

I quite wonder how it works. Haha!
