RE: Travel Venice, Italy in Style

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

Hello @soul.searching ! Nice to read from you.

I really like what you wrote here :"To wrap up my post, I truly believe that travelling is not something you're good at. It's something you do. Like breathing."

I really like your photos however they are maybe a little bit too intense... did you adjust them with photoshop or the like? It's only a personal taste... You took them yourself?

Hi @sweecee, Yes I did take all the photos myself. I only "spiced" a few of them up a bit as I like to post how I "saw" it.... or I guess how it made me feel. Does that make sense? But thank you for your opinion, I will keep it in mind for next time <3

That's too bad there was a sewage problem when you were there! I remember the first time I wanted to see Venice, it was flooded... which is why I decided to go in the Summertime. But jeez, was it HOT!

Best wishes to you,

Stephanie

So Cool! I love it! It's way better when it's the original authentic pictures ;)

I understand the spicing ;) I did the same earlier. I hope you kept the originals... The spicing softwares get better with time ;). That's true that to transmit the vibe of the place it's a great way. I had not seen it like this... very informative.

Ohh great in summer, me was early spring. Humid too?

;)

Yes, very humid... I only survived one day and one night there. Honestly, I am embarrassed about that as you would expect someone visiting to want to stay much longer... but the heat was so incredible. I was backpacking and camping outside... so there was no break for me, which is why I left after exploring as much as I could

It's so funny! However I totally understand and love that. Why stay if it's not great? First time I hear about camping outside in Venice ;). I can't imagine the laguna in summer :). Thanks for the smile :). I love this kind of real unbiased life experience. So much to learn.
