Visit Dillard House in Dillard, Georgia

You'll never enjoy a buffet meal again after eating at the Dillard House restaurant. You sit at a big table, sometimes with other folks, and they bring huge trays full of food to your table. You run out, they bring you more. It's the ultimate in food gluttony.
This spot right here in the photo, I like to lie back on the grass and rest. This place is a little slice of heaven on earth.
There is also a motel on property. They have different buildings with various types of rooms. I wouldn't even call it a motel....that makes it sound too bland. They're more like chalets.
There's a horn barn on property too.
You just really need to see this place.
The best time to visit is after you've gone white water rafting just up the street and you stop by for dinner afterward. Work up a big appetite. You'll need it for all the food they bring out to you.
