This is the story of our vacation to Krk...
The date was April 29th 2016. It was Friday and we set off from Stankovci. We were headed for Krk an island in the Adriatic Sea.
(Note: the ride was an hour or so longer)
The trip was... well interesting because we set off in a family van with 9 seats but an hour into the drive the car broke down and my father called a worker of his to get us our Opel Zafira. After an hour of waiting the towing service an the worker we finally set off...once again. On our way there we made a few stops mainly to go to the bathroom or to buy snacks but we stopped once more just so i could snap this photo(it looked better in person).

An hour or so more and we were finally there. And there were a couple more issues as we didn't exactly know where the apartments were. We came to the apartments around 10 pm and as it was late we went to sleep right away.

Saturday April 30th 2016
It was the first day of our stay so we went sight seeing...and I must say Krk is a nice island.

We went to the city and had a pizza and since it was a nice day I suggested that we take a dip. And we did, but boy oh boy was it cold like really cold. The sea temperature was around 12 °C. After that epic fail i went home, ate and got ready for a night out.
A friend of mine was there so we went out. My brother, Filip (my stepmothers son), me and Dominik went out and found a nice Irish pub and lucky for us they were having a free barbecue that Saturday. So we were there for two hours or so and then went out for a kebab. After that we went for a walk around the city and went home.

Sunday April 31st
It was a nice day and we went to another city the city of Baška...it was fun and all but I had a terrible headache for some reason so I don't really remember that day very well. I did snap a nice panorama so here it is Also taken with my iPhone 6s. (note: panorama made the pier look weird)

Monday May 1st (National Holiday)
On Monday we went to a work colleague of my father and took a look at some machinery my father wanted to buy.
The day was gloomy and it started raining. After we saw the equipment and machinery we went back to the city and had a meal.
After that we went back home and that was about it...

Some things about Krk:
Krk is one of the biggest island in the Adriatic Sea with its surface of 405,78 km2 and a coast line measuring 219,12 km.
It has a vast cultural significance to Croatia and a lot of tourist attractions such as: waterboarding, scuba diving, sight seeing, biking and hiking. I also will satisfy all of your gourmet needs as it has a stunning offer of seafood, traditional Krk food and Kvarner food. My recommendation to you is if you're willing and want to come to Croatia be sure not to miss Krk as it is a nice holiday destination. And just to be sure here are some photos of Krk.
