Ecuador Diaries: Train Journey from Otavalo to Salinas

We traveled by train from Otavalo to Salinas. It was amazing to see the different landscapes and cultures along the way.

Once upon a time, trains were used to transport goods and get people from one part of the country to another. Now they are used to promote tourism.

I’ve heard it’s a really neat community of about 5000 people.. i have a desire to go there and paint the village/city. 😊
